The Nationalities Council of Indiana’s 39th Indy International Festival 2015 was a resounding success. The Exposition Hall at the Indiana State Fairgrounds with various cultural booths, ethnic food and continuous shows of diverse cultures was exceptional.  The festival also included Naturalization Ceremony, Parade of Nations and Awards.

 

The display of Philippine culture, delicious authentic food, music and dancing especially the tinikling was greatly enjoyed as exemplified by long and loud enthusiastic applause of the audience.

The Philippine Nurses Association was well represented by volunteers of various skills and knowledge, performing blood pressure and heart rate checks, BMI, glucose testing, dental screening and bystander CPR on mannequin.

 

Health promotion and prevention were provided and some were counseled in seeking health care provider.
