Erin Flynn

We are proud to present to Erin Flynn the 2018 BSN Educational Grant. Erin is a Junior @ Ball State University (BSU) Nursing Program and graduates. In May 2019, she earned the Presidential Award Scholarship from BSU and has been on the Dean’s list in her freshman and sophomore years. She’s able to start in the nursing program in her second semester of her Sophomore year. Erin had won several scholarships upon graduation from Scecina High School with direct admit into the nursing programs but chose BSU.

Erin was active during High school in many sports – volleyball, cheerleading, baseball and track.  She has not been able to get into sports while at BSU due to her focus of excelling in her nursing classes.

Erin decided to go into nursing at a young age due to having several relatives who are in the nursing profession.  She wanted to help people and knew she could do this in Nursing.  Erin worked at Community Hospital East as a Patient Care Partner during the summer of 2017 in the Med-Surgical and Chemo Therapy units. She plans to work at Community Hospital East again this coming summer.

She does like children so would really like to work in Pediatrics and hopes to go into that field after graduation.  She will be a great asset to PNA-IN as a volunteer in the many Health Fairs we do each year and we welcome her into the profession of Nursing.
